Dr Raj Khiani is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist practising in London and Milton Keynes. He provides expert assessment and treatment while taking the time to listen, explain findings clearly and involve patients in decisions about their care.

He treats the full range of common heart symptoms and conditions, including:

 - Chest pain and breathlessness

 - Palpitations, dizziness and blackouts

 - Atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm disorders

 - High blood pressure and coronary heart disease

 - Heart failure and heart valve disease

 - Pacemakers and other implanted cardiac devices

Dr Khiani has particular expertise in heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and advanced pacemaker treatment, including cardiac resynchronisation therapy, His-bundle pacing and left-bundle pacing.

Alongside his clinical work, he is Lead for Clinical Governance in Cardiology at the Royal Free Hospital, with responsibility for patient safety, patient experience and the continuous improvement of care. He previously led the hospital’s arrhythmia service and remains actively involved in training doctors and fellow cardiologists in advanced pacing techniques.
